He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Smith, and Josie Gaskin Smith, Sr.; and his sister Ann Campbell. He is survived by: his sister Betty Taylor; his wife Phyllis; his daughters, Jennifer Moyer (Douglas), Lana Easterling (Alan) and Amy Cook (Clark); his grandchildren, Joe Moyer, Christopher Moyer, Jeannie Moyer, Ethan Easterling, Lauren Moyer, Reagan Cook, Drew Easterling, Emily Moyer, Sara Moyer and Wesley Cook; and his great grandchildren, Jace Moyer (Joe) and Callista Moyer (Christopher).
