He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert E. Hoover Sr. and Ruby Bell Donald Hoover; his wife Marie Joyce Hoover; and his siblings, Ruby Joyce Hoover, Joe Hoover, Lavelle Hoover, Lamar Hoover and Wayne Hoover.
He is survived by: his children, Paul Hoover (Kathy), Marvin Hoover, Ben Hoover (Debra), Tina Stutts (Billy) and David Hoover (Robin); and his sister-in-law Helen Huff. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
