We are sad to announce that on January 23, 2024, at the age of 92, Ellen Rose Thames Swilley (Brandon, Mississippi) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Frank Thames and Missie Mae Benton Thames; her husband Cecil Swilley; and her sons, Baby John Tilton Swilley and Carl Swilley.
She is survived by: her children, Libby Essary (D.) and Rodney Swilley (Sandy); her daughter-in-law Jane Swilley; her grandchildren, Shelley Swilley, Brandi Swilley, Suzanne Vinson (Richard), David Stovall (Anna Marie), Walker Essary (Jasmine) and Ryan Essary (Leah); her great grandchildren, Presley, Cole, Landry, Joseph, Cora Rose, Lucy, James, Norelle, Nathaniel, Cohen and Hollie Beth; and her great great grandchild Lukas. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
