It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Jane Lipscomb of Brandon, Mississippi, born in Monroe, Louisiana, who passed away on January 30, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Duke McGough and Ruby McGough (Thomas Graves Lipscomb); her daughters, Deborah Ann Lipscomb and Susan Lipscomb Herrington; her siblings, Rita McGough, Pat Hutson (Johnny), James "Jimmy" McGough, Monte McGough (Jessie), Charles McGough (Betty) and Donald McGough (Julia); and her siblings-in-law, Hartwell Barnes, Frank (Nell), Edwin, James "Barney" Lipscomb (Dixie), Lynfield Snyder and Rose Lucas (Bill).
She is survived by: her children, James (Dianne Lipscomb), Edwin "Bubba" (Cindy Lipscomb), Bryan (Regina Lipscomb), Sharon Moore (Richard) and Stephanie Lipscomb of Monroe, LA; her grandchildren, Daniel Lipscomb (April), Jeffery Lipscomb (Frances), Jacob Lipscomb, Elizabeth Freeman (Matthew), Kevin Richardson, Dawn Baker (Douglas), Christy Bedrich (Ronnie), Brad Lipscomb (Rachael), Adam Moore, Andrew Moore, Savannah Lipscomb, Breanna Lipscomb, Matthew Lipscomb and Brooklynn Williams; her siblings, Carol Collins (David), Betty Sue Barnes and Frank McGough (Carolyn); her siblings-in-law, David Deland, Effie McGough and Betty Ann Snyder; and her grandson Charlie Lipscomb. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
