He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Ray Holder and Margaret Berry Holder; and his brother-in-law Bobby W. Reeves. He is survived by: his wife Robin Hubbard Holder; his sister Frances Reeves; his children, Corey Holder (Michelle), Mandi Holder, Adam Holder (Nicole) and Aaron Holder; and his grandchildren, Nehemiah Holder, Gabriel Holder, Malachi Holder, Jaxen Bowman Holder, Lily Holder, Noah Holder, Jayliniah Holder and Adalia Holder.
