He is survived by: his children, Stanley Porter (Doris) of Florence, MS, Eddie Porter (Addie) of Richland, MS, Linda Taylor (Fred) of Braxton, MS, Rickey Porter of Star, MS and Shirley Harper (Michael) of Florence, MS.; his siblings, Rose Ella Owens, Dorothy Porter-Jenkins of Braxton, MS. and George Earl Porter of Braxton, MS.; his grandchild Fifteen; his close friend Rosie Mae Johnson of Braxton, MS; his siblings, Willie George "W. G." Porter, John Wesley Porter and Maecerine Porter-Brown; his granddaughter Tangy Porter; his brother-in-law Evon Brown; his son John Wallace Michael; and also, Sonja Smith (Terry) of Dallas, GA and Stephanie Walker (Tony) of Florence, MS.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
