He was predeceased by: his parents, Merritt Albirtis and Effie Evelyn Baker; his wife Donna Baker; and his siblings, Milton Baker, Iris Green and Thelda Pettit.
He is survived by: his sons, Mike Baker of Port Gibson and Scott Baker (Lindsay) of Brandon; and his grandchildren, Jensen Baker and Jewel Baker.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Lakewood Memorial Park (6011 Clinton Blvd, Jackson, MS 39209).
