He is survived by: his wife Paige Norman Key; his children, Steven Alexander Key (Sandi) and Mykayla Abigail Key; his brothers, Jerry Goldsborough and Larry Key; his nieces and nephews, Emily Byrd (Joel) and Alva Morris; and his grandson Ronan Key. He is also survived by numerous other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
