He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Coker Twiner and Opal Irine Robinson Twiner; and his brother Johnny Eugene Twiner. He is survived by: his wife Gail McCurdy Ivy Twiner; his sons, Chris Twiner (Kallee), Stacey Twiner (Dianne), Tracey Ivy (Hope) and Jason Ivy (Jenna); and his siblings, Linda Twiner Bankston, Lloyd Everett Twiner (Jane) and Ricky Dale Twiner (Ann). He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, eight great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Lamar's memory to Brandon Baptist Church, Building Fund.
