She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Sowell and Vela Wise; and her husband Jimmy Daniel Davis. She is survived by: her daughters, Dr. Jennifer Davis Morgan (Kenneth) and Gelaina Davis Allen (Robert); her grandchildren, Myres Allen (Claire), Ansley Allen and Chloe Allen; and her sister Jeanlee Sowell Allen (George).
