He was predeceased by: his mother Nellie V. Jones. He is survived by: his father Bobby Gene Jones, Sr.; his son Chivas Jones; his grandchildren, Tristen and Zuri; and his siblings, Shirley Hawkins Jones (Timothy), Emma Watts, Nathaniel Jones (Sarah), Kenneth Jones Jameeka, Michael Jones and Nicholas Jones (Angie). He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins.
