He was predeceased by: his parents, Catherine Mary Warriner Holden and Joel Darvin Holden, Sr.; his wife Margaret Ann Guion Holden; and his brother Joel Darvin Holden, Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Kathleen Holden Watters (Doug), Susan Holden of Brandon, MS and William "Bill" Holden (Patty) of Alpharetta, GA; his grandchildren, Julie Carnathan Graves (Marshall), Hannah Holden Cunningham, William "Billy" Holden, Joshua Maddox and Madison Maddox; and his great grandchildren, Leigha Graves and Everett Graves.
