He was predeceased by: his grandson Preston Holmes; his son Calvin Holmes; his brother Jimmy Holmes; and his parents, Monroe Holmes and Ottris Storey Holmes.
He is survived by: his wife Marie Holmes; his sons, William Holmes, Jr. (Maralee Davi), Greg Holmes (Kim) and Alan Holmes (Jennifer); and his grandchildren, Kyle Holmes (Leah), Justin Holmes, Kinley Holmes, William Holmes, Stephen Holmes and Tyler Holmes.
will be remembered for his unwavering faith, dedication to family, and his lifelong contributions to the community.
