She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Ramsey and Grace Ramsey of Greenville, MS.; her husband Jimmy Simpson Sr.; her siblings, Jackie Ramsey, Freddie McClendon and Diane Vowell; and her son Jimmy Simpson, Jr..
She is survived by: her brother Sharmon Ramsey (Bobby Nell) of Sequin, TX. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Lakeview Memorial Gardens of Greenville, MS.
