We are sad to announce that on December 20, 2023, at the age of 84, Betty Jean Vanderford (Brandon, Mississippi) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Henry and Cook Norton of Missouri; her children, Kathy Ann McWilliams and Tommy Lee Vanderford; her daughter-in-law Rhonda James Vanderford; and her siblings, Grady Norton, J. E. Norton and Christine Bacon.
She is survived by: her husband Rufus Lee Vanderford; her children, Kenneth James Vanderford (Paula), Rufus Edward "Rudy" Vanderford (Trish) and Cindy Gay Hutson (Mac); her son-in-law Larry McWilliams; and her siblings, Thomas Norton, Lorraine Payne and Jesse Means. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
