She is survived by: her children, Colebert Talmadge Irby Jr. (LeighAnn), Amanda Lynn Gates (Chris) and Betty Carol Simpson (Bill); her grandchildren, Cole Irby (Bailey), Leah Brooke Irby (Brayden), Casey Echols (Cody), Ian Gates, Evan Gates, Justin Simpson (Taylor) and Maggie Simpson (Garrett); her great grandchild Riggs; and her brother Bobby Hall.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Mount Pisgah Baptist Church or the American Stroke Association.
