He was predeceased by: his parent Hattie Hodge; his sister Ivory Joyce Coleman (Ralph E. Coleman); and his granddaughter Madison Melvin. He is survived by: his wife Genolia Lindsay; his children, Carlos M. Lindsay (Sandra), Shawntae Lindsay and Monica Kyles (Anthony); and his siblings, Debbie Claxton of Clinton, MS, Pamela Denise Miller of Clinton, MS and Gregory P. Coleman. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, eight great grandchildren; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
