She was predeceased by: her parents, Tony Rizzo, Sr. and Concetta Gagliardi Rizzo; her son Don; her daughter-in-law Beverly Mixon; her grandson Blake Downs; and her siblings, Phillip Rizzo, Jimmy Rizzo, Dominic Rizzo, Tony Rizzo, Jr., Josephine McCallister, Louise Miller, Ann Pullen, Rosa Hutchinson and Mary Rhodes.
She is survived by: her husband James William Mixon; her daughter Janice Mixon Downs (Larry) of Indianola, MS; and her grandchildren, Brandon Mixon (Amanda), Adam Mixon (Ashley), Lindsey Mixon Massey, Anna Williams (David), Silas Griffith, Charles Downs (Mary Kat) and David Williams. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
