He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice Douglas and Hazel Smith Douglas; his brother Michael Douglas; his niece Kimberly Kiser; and his father-in-law Dr. Richard Huston.
He is survived by: his wife Jan Huston Douglas; his daughters, Meredith and Elizabeth; his siblings, Maurice Douglas (Frances) and Clarice Kiser (Marty); his mother-in-law Norma Huston; his sisters-in-law, Cyndy Taylor, Carrie Likley (Steve) and Julie Graham (Mark); and his close friend Robert Waller. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
