He was predeceased by: his parents, Bolivar S. Scott and Victoria Samples Scott; his granddaughter Leah Nicole Scott; his siblings, Otis, James O., Cebron, Hubert Scott, Winnie Brown, Jean Williams and Ann Wooley; and his brother-in-law James Chase.
He is survived by: his wife Frances Scott; his son William Scott (Debbie) of Booneville; his grandchildren, Matthew Scott (Lisa) of Oxford, Victoria Scott Robinson (CJ), Katie Conn (Will) of Booneville and Tyson Taylor (Misty) of Tupelo; his great grandchildren, Nicholas Scott, Sawyer Richey and Mattie Magers Conn; his siblings, Buford Scott (Dorothy) of Olive Branch and Rita Scott Wesson (Paul) of Mantachie; and his sister-in-law Virginia Chase. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
