It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vance Brown of Booneville, Mississippi, who passed away on August 18, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Vance Brown to pay them a last tribute.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Odus Brown and Pearl Walden Brown; his wife Louise; his daughters, Donna Brown McDonald (James) of Little Rock, Arkansas and Mary Brown Smith (Perry) of Birmingham, Alabama; his sisters, Virginia Brown Penna of Bartlett and Beverly Brown Taylor of Florence, Alabama; his grandchildren, Will Smith (Becka), Evan McDonald (Lorna), Brad McDonald (Allie) and Ashley Smith Pigford (Josh); his stepchildren, Laura Taylor (John) and Bobby Hemphill (Judy); his former wife Bonnie Myers Brown; his siblings, Leamon Brown, Johnny Browne, Ewell Brown, Edwin Brown and Maylene Brown; and his siblings-in-law, Bobby Taylor, Welmer Penna, Eula Brown, Hazel Brown and Eva Nell Brown. He was also cherished by four great grandsons and five great granddaughters; two great-great granddaughters.
