He was predeceased by: his parents, James Freddie Scott and Marjorie Elaine Rowland Scott; his mother-in-law Neva T. Chaffin; and his niece Holly DeVaughn. He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Chaffin Scott of Booneville; his sons, Jacob Scott of Booneville, Sam Scott (Emily) of Booneville and Timothy Scott of Booneville; his granddaughter Everly Scott of Booneville; his brother Chris Scott (Kara) of Booneville; and his sisters-in-law, Sherry DeVaughn (Teddy) of Marietta and Cathy Sanderson (Shane) of New Albany. He is also survived by 9 nieces and nephews and 2 great-nephews.
