He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Lex Jones and Willer Faye Hisaw Jones; and his son John Luther Jones. He is survived by: his wife Mary Sue Patten Jones; his daughter Melanie Jones Lowder (Phillip) of Lucas, TX; his sister Marilyn Posey (JuDon) of Tupelo, MS; and his grandchildren, Morgan Jones of Rienzi, MS, Hailey Lowder of Lucas, TX and Colton Lowder of Lucas, TX. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
