She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Lee and Vivian Lee; her husband Winfred B. Dawson; her son Bob Dawson; her siblings, Cleston Lee (Ruby), Freed Lee (Etheleen), R. W. Lee (Myrl Jean), Weldon Lee (Sarah), Opal Huddleston (Myrl) and Syble Frost (Earl); her son-in-law Jerry Harrelson; her siblings-in-law, Wilma Lee and Fray Rinehart; and her close friend Mauveline Rone.

She is survived by: her daughter Lana Harrelson; her grandchildren, Rich Harrelson (Hope), Robert Dawson (Paris) and Brad Dawson; her great grandchildren, Gage Harrelson, Mary Cille Harrelson and R. J. Dawson; her siblings, Cullen Lee and Juanita Rinehart; and her daughter-in-law Ann Inman (Roger). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
