He is survived by: his wife Carol Lee Smith; his children, Luke Barnett (Brailey), Chris Russell (Alex), Bethany Miller (John) and Hannah-May Barnett; his siblings, Sammy Barnett (Lee), Jean Lollar (Terry), Vivian Jordan (John) and Patty Timmons (Rodney); his grandchildren, Joey, Athena, Arheaya, MaeMae and Scarlett; his mother-in-law Sharon Smith; and his brother-in-law Mike Allison.
