He was predeceased by: his parents, Elton Burns and Ruth Burns; his brother Hayden Burns; and his brother-in-law Max L. Harris. He is survived by: his wife Joan Nicholson Burns; his daughters, Paula Jacobs (Wesley) of Rienzi and Christie Robbins (Larry) of Kossuth; his sister Dean Harris of Booneville; his sister-in-law Linda Burns of Booneville; his brother Billy; his sister-in-law Brenda Nicholson of Baldwyn; his grandchildren, Ryan, Hunter, Mackenzie Jacobs of Rienzi, Meagan Weber, Molli Fazio (Christopher) of Kossuth and Sam Robbins of Kossuth; and his pet Libby. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and many life-long friends.
