He was predeceased by: his parents, Winston Jasper "Wink" and Ella Vanderford; and his wife Faye Vanderford. He is survived by: his son Wayne Vanderford; and his sisters, Waynona Davis, Hazel Vanderford and Nelda Woodard. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Association or to the American Cancer Society Relay for Life.
