It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Earl Scott (Booneville, Mississippi), born in Baldwyn, Mississippi, who passed away on February 26, 2022, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley Earl Scott and Mildred Gretchen Rogers Scott. He is survived by: his wife Sue Morton Scott; his children, Kevin Scott of Booneville, MS and Kim Pongetti (Joey) of Tupelo, MS; his stepchildren, Bryan Simmons (Dana) of Tuscumbia, AL, Eric Simmons (Leanna) of Muscle Shoals, AL and Jeni Wiley (Matt) of Tuscaloosa, AL; and his grandchildren, Mackenzie Morgan, Henry Wiley, Asa Simmons, Ezra Simmons, Ella Grace Wiley and Mary Wilkes.
