She was predeceased by: her parents, Alva Ainsworth Pope and Sarah Louse Lutz Pope; and her brother Jim Pope. She is survived by: her husband Marshall Eugene Dowdy; her sons, Alva Dowdy, David Dowdy (Kandi) of Rock Port, MO and John Dowdy (Sonia) of Red Bay, AL; and her brother Cameron Pope (Sharon) of Fairfax, MO. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
