With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Emily Rutherford (Booneville, Mississippi), who passed away on January 30, 2022 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Smith and Allie Smith; her husband W. S. Rutherford; her brothers, Julius Smith, Andrew Smith and Randle Smith; and her son-in-law Jerry Floyd.

She is survived by: her children, Joe Rutherford (Shirley), Ann Floyd, Joy Saylors (Manfred), Kay Duke (Tom) and Judy Eastin (Bill); and her grandchildren, Nancy Dawson (Denver), Regina Pethal (Ben), Paul Saylors (Shannon), John Saylors, Tommy Duke (Christine), Joseph Duke (Kelly) and Sarah Harvey (Nick). She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
