She was predeceased by: her parents, Nolen Bell and Ruby Glenn Moore Michael; her husband John McFerrin Curlee Jr.; her son James Franklin Curlee (Frank); her siblings, Forrest Michael and Gwendolyn Cleghorn; and her father-in-law John M. Curlee, Sr..

She is survived by: her sons, John McFerrin Curlee III (Martha) and Nolen Michael Curlee (Debra); her sister Iris Easterling; her grandchildren, John M. Curlee IV (Jennie Bradford), Russell Michael Curlee (Lauren), Jared Roan (Mylia) and Elizabeth Curlee Russell; and her great grandchildren, Walker Gibbs Russell, Lewis Whitley Russell, Miles Richardson Curlee, Hudson Roan and Hadlee Roan.
