He was predeceased by: his parents, Clofus A. Wright and Ethel Mae Fowler Wright; and his siblings, Bertha Belue (William), Earlene Odem (Tom), Dorothy Bain (Henry Lee), Vera Faye Wright, Curtis Wright, Hubert Wright (Edna), Leslie Wright (Betty), Bill Wright (Mae) and Jimmy Wright.
He is survived by: his wife Tresia Dawn Wright; his children, Chris Wright (Trina) of Booneville and Mary Franklin (Richard) of Booneville; his brothers, Bob Wright (Wanda) of Tupelo and Clois Wright (Estelle) of Booneville; and his sisters-in-law, Glenda Wright of Booneville and Marie Wright of Booneville. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren.
