Daphine Eldridge Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 23, 2020, at the age of 93, Daphine Eldridge (Booneville, Mississippi) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dennis Mathis and Rachel Smith Mathis; her husband Stanley Eldridge; her son Larry Eldridge; and her brothers, Melvin and Warren Mathis.
She is survived by: her great grandchild Bryson; her granddaughter Jenny; her great grandchildren, Brooke Hatfield Osborne (Graham), Teri Leigh Young, Brady Humble, Michael Peyton Eldridge and Mackenzie Eldridge; her children, Norah Hatfield, Hattie Ruth and Bonnie Osborne; and her sister-in-law Virginia Stevens.
"Because of you, I laugh a little harder, cry a little less, and smile a lot more." Due to COVID 19 restrictions and guidelines, a private burial was held. A memorial honoring Daphine's life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Belize Anchor Mission in care of Gaston Baptist Church, 1908 Gaston Road, Booneville, MS 38829.
