She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Swindle and Myrtle Swindle; her husband J. P. Guin; her stepfather Monroe Calvery; her siblings, Louise Calvery, Noami Newby, Charlene Frederick and Buddy Calvery; her son-in-law Thomas Parham; and her grandson Jamie Guin.

She is survived by: her children, Ronny Guin (Diane), Rickey Guin (Annice), Carolyn Watson (Louis), Bobbie Worley (James) and Shirley Brooks (Robert); her sisters, Syble Dees (Layne) and Eunice Kelly (Jerry); her grandchildren, Mitchell Watson (Karen), Debbie Gray (Shane), Jim Worley (Pam), Susan Winders (Ricky), Cindy Cartwright (DC), Missy Baggett (Trint), Candi Hall (Ray), Jodie Brooks (Jamie), Rocky Brooks (Brandi) and Stephanie Owens (JD); and also Morgan Merritt. She is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren.
