Charles Edward Storey Obituary
Charles Edward "Eddie" Storey was freed from his pain on September 28, 2021 after an extended illness. He was born May 24, 1964 in Booneville, MS to Chales "Dickie" Storey and Judy Crabb Eaton. He made his home in Memphis, TN for many years working at his trade as a auto/small engine mechanic at which he was outstanding. When he wasn't working, he loved to spend time with his family in MS and riding his pride and joy, his orange Harley.
Eddie had a sweet spirit and a generous heart which he demonstrated by helping the homeless on the streets of Memphis as much as he could. He was well known for his loyalty to friends and family, which earned him his nickname, "True Storey". Graveside services are 11 am Thursday, October 7, 2021 at Little Brown Cemetery with Pastor Robert Gill officiating.
Visitation will be 5-8 pm Wednesday, October 6, 2021 in the Booneville Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home. He leaves behind his sons, Josh Storey (Haley) Storey and Charlie Storey; his granddaughters, Arley and Avery; his father, Charles "Dick" Storey (Cheryl); his mother, Judy Crabb Eaton; his sisters, Keri Eaton, whom he lovingly called "Baby Girl" and Mary Jo Richoux (Shaun); his brothers, Sammy Eaton, Jr, John Storey (Michelle), Butch Essary (Delia) and a special aunt, Wanda Alford.
Preceding him in death were his step-father, Sammy Eaton, Sr.; his brother, Robby Storey; his aunt, Gloria Berry; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. R.L. Crabb, Mary V. Storey Lancaster and Harold Storey. Pallbearers are; Charlie Storey, Josh Storey, Butch Essary, John Storey, Chris Storey, D.J. Lee and William Phillips.
