He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Newby and Bessie Stroupe Newby; his son Donald Wayne Noe; and his siblings, Virginia Ralph, Vernia Murphy, Era Ralph, Dewie Newby, Homer Newby, Earl Newby and A. J. Newby.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Tigrett Newby of Booneville, MS; his daughters, Renae Searcy of Rienzi, MS and Jeanette Chapman (Blaine) of Dry Creek, MS; his sister Emily Newby Cissom of Memphis, TN; and his grandson Drew Noe (Chloe) of Dry Creek. He is also survived by four granddaughters, and fourteen great-grandchildren.
