He is survived by: his daughter Janie Burnice Thornton (Michael) of Booneville; his siblings, Norris Cole of Wheeler, Mike Cole (Linda) of Wheeler and Judy Winters of Saucier, MS; and his grandchildren, Michael Thornton and Serenity Thornton.
