She was predeceased by: her parents, Reverend James Whitehead and Ocene Whitehead; her husband Kenneth Hugh Sims; her son-in-law Mike Dalton; and her siblings, Ronnie Whitehead, Eloise McAnally and Lynn Stephens.

She is survived by: her children, Becky Moak (Mike), Patsy Sims, Sandy Reeder (Lance) and Kenny Sims (April); her adoptive daughter Wanda Driscoll; and her brother Jim Whitehead (Lanna). She is also survived by ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
