Audrey Mae Cook Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Audrey Mae Cook (Booneville, Mississippi), who passed away on January 9, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Wilford "Step" Cook; her daughter Paula Storey; her siblings, Charles Cartwright and Lillian Starling; her grandson Carey Downs; and her great grandchild Lylah Grey McGaughy.
She is survived by: her stepsons, Jimmy Cook and Kevin Cook (Madonna); her daughters, Sandra Moak (David), Pam Storey (Jimmy), Janet Hannon (John) and Kim McGaughy (Tim); and her siblings, Don Cartwright (Sherry), Harold Cartwright (Janet), Wayne Cartwright, Bobbie Parker and Doris Laster. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren and thirty great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Booneville Funeral Home (506 N 3rd St, Booneville, MS 38829). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
