She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas D. Tennison and Pauline Gortney Tennison; her siblings, Charles Tennison and Lourine Tennison Black; and her siblings-in-law, Mary Billie Tennison, Tommy Palmer, Jack Arnold and V. P. Black.
She is survived by: her husband Charles W. "Billy"; her children, Dr. Bill Deaton, Jr. (Debie) and Lori Deaton; her grandchildren, Max Deaton (Erin) and Chloé Crum (Kaley); and her siblings-in-law, Jimmy Deaton (Donna), Ruemell Palmer and Vernell Arnold. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
