He was predeceased by: his parents, Dudley Perrigo and Ozella Horton Perrigo; his sister Janie Settlemires; and his son J. R.. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Thompson; his son Jeff; his daughter-in-law Jane; his grandsons, John Paul and Clay; his brother Curry; and his sister-in-law Biddie Thompson.
