He was predeceased by: his wife Anna Jo; his daughter Sandra (John Brooks); and his brother James Mashburn. He is survived by: his children, Lou Ann Mellon (Richard) of Bolton and Robert "Bobby" W. Mashburn, Jr. (Janet) of Bolton. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
