He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Abner and Maude Guion Holt; his wife Syble Holt; and his son Charles "Chuck" Holt, Jr.. He is survived by: his daughter Peggy Duke (Wally) of Brandon, MS; his siblings, John Holt of Yazoo City, MS and Anne Malone of Hoover, Alabama; his grandchildren, Eric Duke (Sara) and Mary Kathryn King (Jordan); and his great grandchildren, Harrison Duke and Easton King.
