She was predeceased by: her parents, John Beard and Clara Beard; her husband Allen Wirt Martin; her children, Belinda Edwards and Clarence Martin; and her grandson Johnny Edwards.
She is survived by: her children, Stacey Martin, John Martin and Cindy Martin; her grandchildren, Charles Allen Martin, Rachel Martin, Brandy Martin and Jeff Martin; and her sister Frances Mahaffey. She is also survived by six great grandchildren.
