It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alvis Lee Rowland (Bolton, Mississippi), born in Winona, Mississippi, who passed away on October 11, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Louis and Alma Farrell Rowland; and his siblings, Otis Eugene Rowland, John Howard Rowland, Hugh David Rowland, Stanley Harris Rowland, Jewell Douglas Rowland, Robert Earl Rowland and Janette Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Debbie Rowland; his children, Meleney Lewis, Cindy Toten (Jerry), Dian Rowland, Amanda Howard (Michael), Suzy Tucker (Catherine) and Ty Tucker (Tobin); his siblings, William Duncan Rowland, Grady Rowland (Judy), Kenneth Rowland, Mary Joe Hearn (Benjie), Betty Ann Pruitt and Linda Smart; his grandchildren, Alison Davis (Kevin), Shaunea Lewis, Ryan Lewis, Ashley Chase (Joey) and Vincent Zito; and his great grandchildren, Keagen Davis, Chesnee Evans, Cece Evans, Kathryn Evans, Karalina Chase, Jocelyn Chase and Remington Faye Zito. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
