He was predeceased by: his parents, Howell Sasser and Nellie Wallace Sasser; his wife Annette Leggett Sasser; and his son Gary Paul Sasser. He is survived by: his son Stanley Wade Sasser (Tara); his siblings, William Stephen Sasser (Gail) and Nancy Sasser Fenwick (Billy); his grandsons, Clinton Thomas Sasser (Katie), Steven Michael Sasser (Jennifer) and John Ryne Sasser (Kaitlyn); and his nieces and nephews, William Edward Fenwick (Jaime), Kelly Fenwick of Virginia, Heather Sasser Gault (Luke) and Stephen Scott Sasser (Kristin).
