She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Peterson; her parents, LeeRoy Roberts and Myrtis Roberts; her stepmother Willena Roberts; and her siblings, Bobby Roberts, S. W. Roberts, Clinton Davis, Pauline Hall and Ginnie Varnado.

She is survived by: her daughter Sonya Seals (Randy); and her siblings, Inez Johnston, Linda Johnson, Glenda Allen, Louise Busby (Tommy), Janie Hart (Gary) and Robert Davis (Jennifer).

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice Ministries at 397 Brookhaven St, in Brookhaven MS 39601.
