We are sad to announce that on April 10, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Lois Aline Elkins Lightsey of Bogue Chitto, Mississippi, born in Longview, Texas. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Cade Elkins and Eula Smith Elkins; her husband Leland Kline "Pete" Lightsey; and her siblings, Earl P. Elkins, Tommy Cade Elkins, Fred G. "Sonny" Elkins, Betty Carter, Frances Bessonette and Shirley McClintock.

She is survived by: her children, Vicki Lightsey Blackmon, Wendi Lightsey Ezell (Michael) and Nikki Lightsey Foreman (Wayne); her grandchildren, David Wallace (Ashley), Kris Ezell, Kilee Smith, Brittnie Davis (Brandon), Kaden Ezell (Elizabeth), Garrett Blackmon, Haylee Landry (Joseph), Amanda Rimes (Justin) and C. J. Blackmon; and her close friend Sue Hiley. She is also survived by 16 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice Ministries 397 Brookhaven St, Brookhaven, MS 39601.
