It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jeanette Williams of Bogue Chitto, Mississippi, who passed away on July 23, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lanell Robbins Hammond of Monticello, MS. and Johnny Hammond; her husband James B. Williams; her brother Jimmy Hammond of Monticello, MS; and her siblings-in-law, Donald Roark of Ridgeland, MS, Walter "Ruff" Williams (Blanche) of McComb, MS, Clifton, Lamar Williams of Bogue Chitto, MS, Mike C. Williams (Cleo) of McComb, MS, Blanche and Cleo Williams.
She is survived by: her grandson Stephen Russell; her children, Dr. J. Byron Williams (Kathy) of Brandon, MS and Belinda W. Russell (Larry) of Brookhaven, MS; her sister Barbara H. Roark of Ridgeland, MS; her sisters-in-law, Dorothy Williams of Bogue Chitto, MS and Betty Hammond of Monticello, MS; her grandchildren, Jonathan L. Williams of Brandon, MS, Alice Anne Lee (Jeb) of Magee, MS, Jason L. Russell (Liz) of Franklinton, LA and Stephen W. Russell of Northport, AL; her great grandchildren, Bowen Davis Williams, Julie Anne Lee, Sadie James Lee, Hallie Elizabeth Garner, Peyton Jason Russell, Holly Ann Russell, Zachary Stephen Russell and Lilah Jane Russell; her grandsons, Jonathan Williams and Jason Russell; her grandson-in-law Jeb Lee; and her nephews, Don Roark, William Roark and Trent Hammond. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, numerous relatives and friends.
While flowers are a wonderful honor and tribute to her life and will be appreciated by the family, the family would welcome donations in lieu of flowers made to Summit United Methodist Church in her honor.
