It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Hodges (Bogue Chitto, Mississippi), who passed away on March 31, 2020, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Harlon Hodges and Annie Ruth Hodges; his wife Diane Turman Hodges; his grandson Gabriel "Seth" Hodges; and his siblings, Jeanette Smith and Richard Hodges.
He is survived by: his sons, James "Tony" Hodges (Elizabeth "DeeDee") of Decatur, MS and Leslie J. "Les" Hodges of Bogue Chitto, MS; his brother Wayne Hodges (Nelda) of Bogue Chitto, MS; his sister-in-law Ann Hodges of Laurel, MS; his sisters, Marylyn Steele of Pricedale, MS, Bernita Moak (Calvin) of Bogue Chitto, MS and Cindy Williams (Johnny) of Wesson, MS; his brother-in-law Bracy Smith of Bogue Chitto, MS; his grandchildren, James "Tyler" Hodges, Emma Diane Hodges, Chase Cook and Christopher Cook; and his great grandchildren, Easton Cook and Sarah Cook. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
